
Lisa McDermott
Lisa beings over 27 years’ experience in structured finance, of which 13 within the renewable energy sector. Since joining ABN AMRO in 2013, she has led the bank’s Energy Transition project financing activities, driving its multi‑technology renewables expansion across Europe and playing a pivotal role in structuring and unlocking financing for emerging transition technologies, including energy storage, green hydrogen/PtX and advanced biofuels.
Lisa began her career as a lawyer before going on to hold several senior origination, structuring and management roles within the financial industry. She holds a first-class honours degree in Common and Civil Law with French from Queen’s University, Belfast and Sciences Po, Bordeaux as well as a postgraduate diploma in law from the Nottingham Trent University.
Lisa also serves as a non-executive director and advisory board member for PE and infra-backed energy transition-focussed businesses and is listed in Tamarindo’s ”Global Energy Transition Power List‘’ of the world’s top 100 renewable energy leaders.
