Christoph Bellin

Christoph Bellin is a senior energy executive with over 20 years of experience in the European energy market. He currently leads the Development & Projects unit at Alpiq, where he is driving the expansion of a pan-European Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) portfolio. His responsibilities span the entire value chain—from sourcing investment opportunities and business development to project construction and commissioning.

Previously, he held senior leadership roles in energy trading, where he played a key role in optimizing generation portfolios and launching digital trading platforms. Christoph also serves as a non-executive board member in the energy and hydro sector. He combines strategic leadership and market intelligence with a clear mission: to accelerate the energy transition, improve the security of supply, and contribute to a more sustainable climate.
