Hannes Behacker is CEO of Energy2market (e2m), a leading aggregator and energy trading company based in Leipzig, Germany and part of the EDF Group. With over two decades of experience in the renewable energy sector, Hannes brings deep industry expertise and a strong international network spanning technology providers, project developers, and market players. Before joining e2m, he held executive positions at edding AG, GreenCom Networks, Advanced Energy Industries, and Q-Cells. Hannes holds degrees from the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, TU Ilmenau, and the University of Chicago. At e2m, he is driving the company’s strategic evolution, particularly around battery storage, flexible asset optimization, and market innovation.
