Jan Richter

Jan is a Director in the Green Infrastructure Finance origination team at Commerzbank in Hamburg, with experience of over 10 years in the infrastructure and energy project finance space. In his current role, he is responsible for acquiring new customer relationships and debt transactions in the sectors renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure across Europe. In his previous role, Jan was a Vice President of Infrastructure & Energy Origination at Berenberg Bank where he was responsible for global deal sourcing in renewable energy and digital infrastructure as well as for developing new debt fund strategies. Jan started his career in the Infrastructure Origination Europe team at NORD/LB, where he was responsible for social and public infrastructure as well as for developing a project finance strategy for digital infrastructure.
