Lukas Pfeiffer

Lukas Pfeiffer is the Founder and CEO of Gridmetry GmbH and serves as Interim Head of Strategy at Flexionics Energy AB. He has over seven years of experience in the digital asset industry and specializes in integrating flexible load management within data centers to support grid balancing and advance the energy transition. With a deep understanding of both high-performance computing and intermittent energy systems, Lukas focuses on leveraging data center infrastructure to match fluctuating power supply, thereby reducing energy waste and strengthening the grid.

In his role at Flexionics Energy AB, Lukas is responsible for forging global partnerships and driving growth across three main verticals: Bitcoin mining, high-performance computing, and enhanced power utilization. Flexionics Energy’s mission is to advance the energy transition by utilizing compute infrastructures that tap into excess capacity from intermittent energy sources, effectively balancing the grid through data center load flexibility.

Before founding Gridmetry, Lukas was a Managing Director at Crypto Oxygen, enabling the integration of Digital Asset and traditional financial markets. He also served as investment Manager at FORUM Family Office (Private Equity). As Regional Manager and Head of Strategy at Genesis Digital Assets, he played a key role in expanding the firm’s crypto mining operations, helping to establish Bitcoin mining as a viable asset class—an effort that led to successful fundraising rounds with institutional investors. Earlier in his career, Lukas served as a Consultant at Altman Solon Management Consulting, advising top-tier Private Equity firms on data center business models, strategic initiatives, and M&A projects.
