Sebastian Schleich is a senior specialist for electricity market design issues at the transmission system operator TransnetBW. He deals with the design, further development and implementation of the power plant strategy in Germany and capacity mechanisms in a national and international context. As a Master’s graduate from the University of Cologne, he has a strong background in energy economics. In addition to his work for TransnetBW he held a lectureship in energy economics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences for several years.
