Tom Smout

Tom Smout leads LCP Delta’s work on energy storage, supporting clients across Europe and Great Britain as they develop, invest in, and operate storage assets. He brings deep expertise in market dynamics, strategy, and system needs, helping organisations stay ahead in this fast-moving space. Prior to joining LCP Delta, Tom was a Senior Associate at Aurora Energy Research, where he led their GB analytics team and previously ran the GB Flexible Energy team, advising widely on batteries and storage. Tom holds an MA in Philosophy and Economics and an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
